The big update on her this week is that her skin is becoming more opaque and starting to have that pinkish glow. She is getting more and more ready to make her appearance into this world!
In other pregnancy news A TON has been going on!
I can feel her kick so much lately and sometimes I feel like she is kicking me right in the vah jay jay... then I found this picture on line.... it explains why.
Also, we have put the crib together and I'm working on sewing away the rest of her bedding. We also got a dresser that is a family antique (over 100 years old) that will be her dresser/changing table. I am going to order some cute little porcelain red knobs and blue polka dot knobs to go on it... just to baby it up a little! Once I have everything together I will take pictures of her nursery set up in our bedroom.
Adrian has also started to fill up our closet with all of her clothes and this kid isn't even here yet! Good thing we sectioned off a part of it for her :) Over the weekend my mom found my baby clothes she kept and passed them on to me. I cannot wait to dress her up in my clothes!!! I need to go buy some baby detergent and get washing all the hand me down clothes and start filling up this dresser for her!
Monday is my big glucose screen to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes. I'm not really looking forward to drinking the nasty sweet drink then being kicked in the crotch for an hour by my gymnast baby in there, but hopefully we will pass with flying colors!
News with me...
My feet hurt.
My feet are swelling!
I broke down in DSW because I LOVE shoes and couldn't find a pair to fit my fat feet and be comfortable all at the same time :(
I am having trouble bending down to tie my shoes--- yes already!
I am having trouble getting my dogs leashes on/off of them because they are like 1 foot off the ground.
My back still feels like I broke my tail bone.
I watched a few birthing videos and I'm a little nervous about "the ring of fire".
I have a feeling this 3rd trimester is not going to be fun.
OK... enough complaining, I know this is all I dreamed of 2 years ago when I wasn't pregnant. So I will say over all not many complaints.
